Short Essay on the Effects of Insecurity on Our Education System

INSECURITY AS A THREAT TO OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM  Have you ever wondered what children face when they are attacked in school? I assume you haven't. Such an occurrence will have several negative effects on the students, their school, and society in general. It is a case of insecurity. Insecurity is defined as a lack of safety or a state of danger in a society. It may also be seen as a feeling of uncertainty and anxiety about oneself. It is a great threat to our education system for several reasons.     First, it leads to the destruction of lives and property. People in the attacked schools may be kidnapped or even killed by terrorists and/or perpetrators. A common example would be the abduction of 276 Chibok schoolgirls that occurred in northeastern Nigeria. A number of these girls still haven't been released. Happenings like this leave a lifelong scar on them and their family; that is if they even make it out. School facilities are also frequently destroyed in these clashes...
